This exciting movement class, led by two world class dancers from BalletCollective, is designed specifically for children ages 8 and up. Whether your child is already taking dance classes or simply loves to move, this class will offer insightful instruction and an opportunity to engage with movement in a supportive and inspiring environment. Class ends with a Q&A where kids can ask a professional dancers about their experiences and career.
BalletCollective, the New York-based interdisciplinary arts nonprofit known for its collaborative model, commissions emerging, established and acclaimed choreographers, composers, writers and visual artists to collaborate on ballet-based works. BalletCollective’s work has been presented by the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Joyce Theater, NYU Skirball Center, Guggenheim Works & Process, PEAK Performances, Guggenheim Bilbao, Vail Dance Festival, the Fire Island Dance Festival, and the Savannah Music Festival.
